The lodge became the owners´ life project and it was the first Fly Fishing lodge in the southern hemisphere. The concept is typical Patagonian architecture, created entirely with local materials by local craftsmen. The restoration of an old settlers' house from 1940 was carried out under the direction of one of the most important heritage architects in Chile, Edward Rojas, whose construction philosophy strives for harmony with the environment.
