Puma tracking is not for the masses, and only possible with small groups, as large groups would probably impact the animals tranquility and eventually force the puma to relocate. Awasi Patagonia is located in a private reserve with impressive views of the Torres del Paine Mountain Range and Lake Sarmiento. A thick native forest of lenga and ñirre trees protects the chosen location from the strong Patagonian winds. The native fauna remains intact, and herds of guanacos, ñandus, foxes, condors and pumas can be spotted from the lodge and villas. Awasi Patagonia’s strategic location allows you to enjoy Torres del Paine National Park from the intimacy of a private reserve, away from the crowds and traffic found in high season. The pumas are active early in the morning, and late in the afternoon, so you can choose between the morning tour or the afternoon tour. Our experienced puma-trackers will start the day some hours earlier trying to locate where the pumas are so we get the most out of the day.
On day 7 we have prepared your transfer, so you can return home safely
