El Fraile Ski Center/Portezuelo Ibañez

Located 29 kilometers from the city of Coyhaique, with an altitude of 1,600 mts above sea level, El Fraile Ski Center represents a meeting point for lovers of the winter sports in the Patagonian region of Aysen. It is a smaller ski center with 5 slopes, although with exceptional characteristics: covered with dust snow and right in the midst of a forest of lenga, pines and ñirre, with fantastic views over the lakes Frío and Pólux.
