On this first part of the route, from Hornopirén to Caleta Gonzalo, there are approximately 92 km that you will travel first on a barge across the Comau fjord for 3.5 hours. Arriving in Leptepu the route continues by land for another 10 kms to reach Largo Fjord, from where you embark again across Reñihue fjord to Caleta Gonzalo, entrance point to Pumalin Park.
