VILLARRICA NATIONAL PARK

The National Park extends along Curarrehue, Panguipulli, Pucón and Villarrica, with 63 thousand hectares. Created in 1940, the possibilities during winter are so many, with snows that reach great heights in a rugged topography where the Lanín, Quetrupillán and Villarrica volcanoes stand out, with heights greater than two thousand meters above sea level, the latter being characteristic for having a winter center. There are beautiful trails, such as Mirador Los Cráteres, Chinay, Challupén, Cráter del Villarrica, Los Nevados and Rinconada de Huijilco, among others.
