From its humble beginnings as a fishermen’s’ shanty town, Pichilemu today is centered in tourism but keeps a low profile and a cool vibe with beachfront bars and cozy coffee shops.
PICHILEMU - CHILE
The town unfolds for 6 km south along the beachfront, which is littered with cabanas and hostels, all the way to the famous Punta de Lobos - Pichilemu’s biggest appeal. Located at the southern end of the beach, the point break here is known as one of the world’s best, having hosted the World Surfing League’s Big Wave Competition.
Sailing Valparaiso is undoubtedly a great way of exploring the beauty of this enchanting port.
