This morning we’ll transfer to the beautiful Lake Panguipulli to cycle along the coast on one of the most beautiful rides Chile has to offer. Revel in a fun descent out of Panguipulli, enjoy a delicious picnic lunch by the beach, and be treated to stunning views of the Choshuenco volcano. After lunch, opt to continue riding another 15 miles along the lake to Choshuenco village or hop in the van. From here, we’ll drive to Huilo Huilo Natural Reserve, where we’ll have dinner and stay overnight at the unforgettable Nothofagus Hotel & Spa.
Named for the deep freshwater lakes that dot the landscape and snowcapped volcanoes that dominate the horizon, Chile’s Lakes and Volcanoes region is a naturally spectacular location for a bike tour. You’ll be treated to stunning views of the Choshuenco volcano, and the chance to fly high over the rainforest on a canopy tour. We’ll cycle another wonderful route along Lake Llanquihue. Our approach reveals an amazing sight, as the snowcapped Osorno volcano appears to rise directly out of the lake. We’ll be treated to stunning views of this awesome volcano along our ride today as we pass through the village of Ensenada, continuing on to the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. Hike a short distance to visit the dramatic Petrohué Falls before we transfer back to our hotel in Puerto Varas and celebrate our farewell dinner together at our favorite local seafood restaurant.
